Man arrested after boy, 2, killed in 'stolen Porsche hit-and-run'

A man has been arrested after a tragic tot was killed in a crash in the West Midlands.A 29-year-old woman and a man, 30, also remain in a serious condition in hospital.

Police had previously confirmed the Porsche had been stolen about a month before, and the driver of the car had fled the scene.Cops and paramedics were called to Dartmouth Road on Saturday night following a crash between two cars.

Despite their best efforts, the toddler died.The local force posted an updated statement on December 16 and said: "We've this afternoon arrested a man after a two-year-old boy tragically died following a collision in Smethwick.

We acted on information and detained a 30-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving in Dartmouth Road on Saturday evening (14 December).
