A man suffered serious injuries after a reported 'disturbance' on a street in south Manchester, Greater Manchester Police have revealed.
Emergency services were called to Palatine Road, Northenden, at 1am on Sunday, with the man, who is aged in his 20s, subsequently taken to hospital.
The nature of his injuries, or detail around the disturbance, haven't been disclosed by the force, but a spokesman said he remained in a 'serious but stable' condition in hospital.
No arrests have been made and detectives are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Photographs posted on social media show an area of the road and pavement taped off around Bombay Flavours restaurant and The Grapes lounge bar.
