A man was arrested in Manchester today by detectives investigating a series of seven burglaries at homes in leafy Cheshire, police have revealed.
Officers swooped in Withington to make the arrest and the 58-year-old man held remained in police custody for questioning on Tuesday afternoon.
Cheshire Police said he was arrested on suspicion of committing a series of burglaries in the Disley, Poynton and Prestbury areas of Cheshire between November last year and March.
