A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 'nasty' stabbing at a block of flats in south Manchester.
Emergency services descended on Withington Road after the attack at around 8pm on Sunday (May 5). A cordon was put in place around the Bowling Green Court flats by police officers.
The victim was rushed to hospital from the scene after the stabbing. His injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing, Greater Manchester Police said. In a new update on Wednesday (May 8), GMP said a 33-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The victim is said to be 'recovering well' following the knife attack.
