A man from Greater Manchester has been arrested as another man fights for his life after being punched outside a nightclub. The victim was punched during an altercation outside Glow nightclub, in Lancaster, shortly before 4.30am on Sunday (June 12).
The punch caused him to fall and hit his head on the ground, police in Lancashire say. The victim, who is in his 20s, is currently in a critical condition in hospital.
A 31-year-old man from Leigh has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers say the victim was part of a group of men who were asked to leave the club, in Dalton Square, earlier in the night.
