Malcolm in the Middle is staging a comeback on Disney+, and some of the original show’s main cast members are involved!

On Friday (December 13), it was revealed that the hit sitcom, which aired for seven seasons between 2000 and 2006, would return for a revival.

Original series creator Linwood Boomer is working on the new project, which will be comprised of four episodes.

It is not yet clear when it will premiere. “Malcolm in the Middle is a landmark sitcom that captured the essence of family life with humor, heart and relatability,” Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television said in a statement shared with Variety. “Its hilarious and heartfelt portrayal of a lovably chaotic family resonated with audiences of all ages, and we’re so excited to welcome the original cast back to bring that magic to life again.” Three members of the original cast are confirmed to return, but the fate of three others is still unclear.
