Major search launched to find missing boy, 13, last seen in his school uniform

A major police search has been launched to find a missing teenage boy who was last seen in his school uniform. Leon, aged 13, was last seen on Hollin Lane, Middleton at around 2.30pm on Wednesday (January 22).

He has been described as being around 6ft tall, of a medium build, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in his school uniform - a white shirt with dark blue tie and white stripes, black trousers, Nike trainers and black coat with red zips.

A picture of Leon was shared as part of an urgent appeal issued by Greater Manchester Police on Wednesday night. His surname was not disclosed.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is being urged to contact police immediately, with officers becoming 'increasingly concerned'.
