Married At First Sight star Bradley Skelly has spoken up about the end of his controversial relationship with Shona Manderson and admitted that he doesn't believe he was "in love" with the performing arts and yoga teacher.
Brad, who is a self-proclaimed spiritual guru and believes in the "universe", was repeatedly criticising by both viewers, the other stars, and the experts for exhibiting controlling behaviour towards his wife on the Channel 4 show.Things finally came to a head between the pair in the latest instalment, as following a chat with her girl pals Peggy and Laura, Shona decided to confront her husband.
As the duo couldn't find common ground and Brad insisted that nothing would ever come before the universe - including her - Shona, 31, finally said she was going to "detach herself" from their relationship going forward.
In the wake of the dramatic scenes, 27 year old Brad has shared his side of the story, which also comes as Shona herself shared a lengthy statement about their relationship on her Instagram page. "I most definitely can confirm that I wasn't in love, but at that time, it was a strong feeling of lust that I got confused with," Brad told The Mirror in a new interview. "Yeah, because you haven't got a lot of external influences or guidance like you have on the outside world.
