Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has been hit with a fine of nearly £200, as well as penalty points after authorities caught him using his mobile phone while riding his moped in central London.
The reality star was stopped by police while riding his Piaggio Vespa earlier this year on February 15, where he admitted to breaking the law by holding his phone with two hands while driving, according to a report by the Evening Standard.
Jamie, 34, was handed six penalty points and ordered to pay a £192 fine, £110 costs, and a £76 court fee, according to the publication.
PC Alexandra Day, who spotted Jamie breaking the law, said in a statement: “I noticed that the rider of this vehicle was using a hand-held mobile device whilst driving. “The device was being held in both their hands to the front, in front of themselves. “I stopped the vehicle and spoke with the rider.
