M60 crash: Woman seriously hurt after being knocked down while helping another vehicle
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA woman was left seriously hurt after being knocked down on the M60 while she was 'assisting another vehicle'. The woman was hit by a vehicle that 'left the carriageway and spun across the motorway towards the hard shoulder' yesterday afternoon (April 1), Greater Manchester Police said.
The fire service confirmed yesterday the crash involved two cars and a van. The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

An air ambulance also landed in the middle of the carriageway. Traffic was stopped as police, paramedics and fire crews responded to the crash and investigation work took place.
