deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: M3GAN 2.0 is in production as it heads for a June 27, 2025 theatrical release with Timm Sharp, Aristotle Athari and Jemaine Clement boarding the Blumhouse, Atomic Monster and Divide/Conquer sequel.
Also returning from the original 2023 $181M global grossing movie is Brian Jordan Alvarez as Cole and Jen Van Epps as Tess. Gerard Johnstone, as we previously told you, is returning to the helm with a screenplay penned by Akela Cooper, who wrote the first film.
Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, and Jenna Davis were previously confirmed to return for the sequel which will also star Ivanna Sakhno.
Jason Blum, James Wan and Williams are producers on M3GAN 2.0. Michael Clear and Judson Scott, of Wan’s Atomic Monster banner, will EP.
