Lydia Bright has responded to social media users after being mum-shamed for allowing her young daughter to run on a sofa while at an event.
Originally, the 32 year old, who recently opened up about feeling “heartbroken” during her pregnancy, took to Instagram to share a clip of three year old Loretta running across an L-shaped sofa while at an event, explaining that the little one was feeling “energised” after taking a nap.
Captioning the adorable clip, The Only Way Is Essex star wrote: “Yes my kid is always that kid, but instead of trying to tame her wonderful, wild ways, I let her be her and happy. “I rarely go to events since becoming a mumma, but this one was kid friendly and Loretta loved it >>>.” However, after sharing the short video, doting mum Lydia revealed that she’d received some comments from people who had questioned why she’d let her daughter stand on the sofas.
Defending herself, Lydia gushed over her daughter and said that she was “an extrovert” and that she wouldn’t discipline her child for her personality. “Loretta is an extrovert, she is confident, energetic and headstrong.
