Lucy Spraggan has shared a candid and honest post as she celebrates 11 months of sobriety. The former X Factor star took to Twitter on Sunday to post a poignant message as she reached the milestone of nearly a year without booze.
The brave singer told that drinking gave her a "false confidence" and that she had "been burying her problems" which led to her spending a lot of her life "incredibly sad" before giving up alcohol.
She added that it was only when she stopped drinking that she realised how destructive boozing and partying was to her life.
