Lucy Letby is said to have had a makeover ahead of Christmas and is able to watch festive films while serving a life sentence for murder children in her care.

The nurse-turned-serial killer is understood to have a private TV in her single cell, with prison sources saying she was given the luxury following a prison move.

Letby, who was found guilty of murdering seven babies and deliberately harming six more between June 2015 and 2016, was handed a whole-life order for her heinous crimes in August. The 33-year-old maintained her innocence earlier this month when she chose not to resist an application to strike her off the nursing register, but stated that she did not accept she was guilty of any of the allegations. The ex-NHS worker currently faces a re-trial for one count of attempted murder of a newborn baby girl.

She has also applied to be allowed to appeal all of her existing convictions. It is believed Letby is currently locked up in the privately-run HMP Bronzefield in Surrey, after being moved from the notorious HMP Low Newton in Durham.A source claims she has been granted new 'privileges' that other inmates are forced to wait much longer for, including a makeover.
