Phillip Schofield, 60, and his co-star Holly Willoughby, 41, were booed as they collected their Best Daytime show gong at the NTAs last night.
It was reported that shortly after, Holly "sneaked" out the building, leaving Phillip to declare his love for the presenter via social media in the early hours of this morning.Phillip took to Instagram in the early hours this morning to share a heartfelt message dedicated to Holly and the This Morning team.He used a picture of Holly and himself when they took to the stage last night to accept their award, which has sparked backlash this year.Phillip said in view of his three million Instagram followers: "I love you @hollywilloughby and our entire @thismorning family."Thank YOU for every single vote 'cos we love you the most."This comes as Holly reportedly departed the awards show, held at London's Ovo Arena, in Wembley, just half an hour after accepting the gong.A source told The Sun said: "Holly picked up her award for Best Daytime and then left 30 minutes after."Normally she stays around for a drink with Phil and the team but she did an Irish exit."She was seen leaving the ceremony and getting into a car outside just after 10pm."The insider added that it was "very awkward" for Holly and Phillip when they accepted their award and were met with boos.Express.co.uk have previously contacted Holly Willoughby's representatives for comment.When accepting the award, Phillip said: "Please don't think we ever get complacent and please don't think we ever take it for granted."This means so much to us every year, especially this year.
