'Love you always': Son's heartbreaking tribute as loving dad-of-six dies in horror crash

Tributes have been paid to a popular dad who died in a horror crash in Tameside. Lee Hilton, 47, was involved in a collision in Hyde, on Monday, May 4.

Emergency services raced to the scene on Matley Road and he was rushed to hospital with multiple injuries. However the dad-of-six and Manchester City fan from Hattersley died ten days later on Thursday May 14.

His family are now being supported by specialist officers. Lee’s son Ben, 24, paid a moving tribute to his dad online saying: “I just want to say thank you to everyone who has sent messages of support to myself and family and to everyone who was a positive part of his life. “Taken way too soon but one thing for sure is that he lived life at full speed, always busy, always helpful,
