Caroline Flack
Caroline Louise Flack (born 9 November 1979) is an English radio and television presenter. She began her career as an actress, starring in Bo' Selecta! in 2002 and has since presented various ITV2 spin-off shows such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! from 2009 until 2010 and The Xtra Factor from 2011 until 2013. Flack won the twelfth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014 and the following year began presenting main series such as Love Island and The X Factor replacing long-standing presenter Dermot O'Leary.
Laura Whitmore
Laura Whitmore (born 4 May 1985) is an Irish presenter and actress, known for presenting I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! and Survival of the Fittest. In January 2020, Whitmore is set to present Love Island and its spinoff series, Love Island: Aftersun.
Paige Turley

The sixth series of Love Island began broadcasting on 12 January 2020 on ITV2. The series was announced on 24 July 2019 when it was confirmed that two series would air in 2020, and is also the first winter edition of the series. Unlike the summer edition, the luxury villa is located in Cape Town. This series is also the first to be hosted by Laura Whitmore, having taken over from Caroline Flack. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling.

On 15 February 2020, following the death of former presenter Caroline Flack, the Unseen Bits episode due to air that day was not broadcast; but was made available on the ITV Hub. The regular episode did not air the following day either. The show returned on 17 February with a tribute to Flack. On the same day, ITV2 confirmed that the companion series Love Island: Aftersun which was set to air after that episode's main show would not be broadcast. A further tribute to Flack aired during the final on 23 February, which featured a compilation of her time throughout her five series as host

Love Island viewers 'knew' Millie and Liam would win thanks to 'giveaway' theory

Love Island viewers claimed they "knew" Millie Court and Liam Reardon would win the £50,000 cash prize thanks to a "giveaway" sign.The 24 year old fashion buyer's administrator and 22 year old bricklayer were crowned victorious in the ITV2 show's live final – beating Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran to win.

But viewers had dashed hopes for Chloe, 25, and Toby, 21, after realising they were standing on host Laura Whitmore's right-hand side.

A theory circulated by fans online claims that whichever couple is standing on the host's left-hand side will win the competition, with it coming true six times.
