Love Island split! Ekin-Su and Davide separate just 11 months after winning show

Love Island winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 28, and Davide Sanclimenti, 27, have announced they are splitting up, less than a year after they won the 2022 summer series.The former couple, who swiftly became fan-favourites on the ITV2 reality series and ultimately went on to win the entire show, have sadly called it quits on their relationship, according to Italian model Davide.

Posting the news on his Instagram story, Davide shared with fans: "@ekinsuofficial &I are no longer together. "I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best. "I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time, I will continue to support Ekin in anyway possible," the star added.

OK! has contacted a representative for Ekin-Su for comment on Davide's statement. While Ekin-Su is yet to share her own statement on Davide's announcement, the Turkish actress has been enjoying some time out with her family.

The star posted that she was "reunited" with her family back in Turkey only six hours earlier. Sharing a sweet snap of her support system on her Instagram stories, the reality TV favourite looked sun-kissed as she posed alongside her cousin and other family members. "Finally reunited with mum and auntie," the star wrote, alongside a pink heart emoji.
