Love Island's Maya Jama looks incredible in iconic Liz Hurley dress at MTV EMAs
ok.co.ukStars from the worlds of TV and music descended on the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Sunday for the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards - and Love Island host Maya Jama was among the guests who stunned on the event's red carpet.The 30-year-old stepped out in a black, figure-hugging safety-pin dress to pay tribute to Liz Hurley, who originally wore the outfit three decades earlier.
Liz walked the red carpet in the Versace number alongside Hugh Grant in 1994, at a charity premiere of the actor's film Four Weddings And A Funeral.Thirty years on, Maya made her mark on the outfit as she strutted the red carpet.
Later on, she took her place in the star-studded audience, sitting next to rapper Konan from the group Krept and Konan. Maya joined the likes of Rita Ora, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Shawn Mendes and Katherine Ryan at the coveted awards, which saw Raye win Best UK & Ireland Act, while Taylor Swift took home Best Live Act.
Eminem took home the Hip Hop Award, Calvin Harris won in the Electronic category and Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso won Song of the Year.
