Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti says he was in 'dark place' and had 'miserable existence' after Ekin-Su split
ok.co.ukEx Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti reveals he struggled to deal with the breakdown of his relationship with Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu - who he met during the reality television series.
The pair met on Love Island back in 2022 and went on to win the show.They continued to date until June 2023 when they split, Davide and Ekin-Su went back out again, but broke up for a second time in 2024.
Following their break up Davide was later pictured appearing to have have a wild time in Ibiza, and claimed he was trying to ‘numb the pain’ of his relationship breakdown.
Davide has since left the UK and is hoping for a fresh start in Los Angeles. Talking to The Sun about his struggle since the break up, Davide explained: “I’m only human and when you’re heartbroken and dealing with a break up, you go into a dark place.
