Love Island fans have been left baffled by 'awkward' social distancing as the Islanders are reunited in the villa with their parents.
Each year, families and friends enter the villa to reunite with their loved one and meet their respective partners. But due to coronavirus restrictions, social distancing is in place.
It was previously expected that this year's family catch-ups this year would be Zoom chats. But in a surprise move, Love Island contestants’ parents who have been reportedly double-jabbed had the opportunity to visit their loved ones in the flesh.
However fans of the ITV2 show took to Twitter to share their frustration at the Islanders unable to 'hug' their loved ones.
