ok.co.ukSabrina Vittoria has opened up about the severe impact her Love is Blind UK split had on her mental health, revealing she was left on medication for depression and anxiety after her brief marriage to Steven Smith ended.The 35 year old reality star found love with Steven, 37, on the hit Netflix series, where they were hailed as a "forever couple" by the show's married hosts Emma and Matt Willis.
Despite being the first duo to get engaged sight unseen in line with the show's unique concept, and tying the knot in September last year, Sabrina has now shared the emotional turmoil of their separation after just 86 days as husband and wife.The news of their split came to light during a reunion episode aired on Monday, August 26.
Speaking to The Sun, Sabrina expressed the hardship of her experience: "I had to process what I'd lost and that this was going to be on TV and you're going through a marriage breakdown with the world watching.
And that was really difficult." She continued, detailing the toll it took on her: "I ended up with diagnosed depression, I was put on anxiety medication for the first time in my life.
