‘Love Is Blind’ Sets Nielsen Streaming Record For Unscripted Series; ‘Severance’ Marks Seventh Consecutive Originals Chart Appearance

Netflix can now lay claim to yet another Nielsen streaming record, this time for Love Is Blind. The unscripted series raked in 1.2B minutes viewed from February 24 to March 2, thanks to Season 8, which launched earlier in February.

The series came in at No. 3 on the streaming charts, marking its 34th appearance in the Top 10 and making it the top unscripted streaming show of all time and top streaming original in terms of total appearances on the Nielsen Streaming Top 10.

In first place during this interview was Prime Video’s Reacher with 1.4B minutes viewed, just barely overtaking Netflix’s Zero Day, which fell to second place this week.

Also, notably, Running Point had a big debut weekend with nearly 1.1B minutes viewed in the days after its 10-episode February 27 launch.
