BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin has said her Christmas decorations cheer her up, so she is tempted to leave them in place for a little longer instead of taking them down on the traditional 12th day of Christmas.The TV presenter, who currently has her foot in a cast following surgery, divided opinion on social media with her decision.Louise posted a picture of her beautifully-decorated real Christmas tree on Instagram yesterday, the day most people take down their lights, trees and tinsel.Her post follows Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement that the country will endure a third lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.“I am tempted to see if the tree will make it through to the end of #lockdown3 it cheers me up!” the 52-year-old.
