Lorraine Kelly's show took an unexpected twist on Tuesday morning when the 65 year old TV host got her first tattoo live on air.The star confessed she had always harboured a desire to get inked, but wanted it to be something significant.
She chose to have her granddaughter Billie's name tattooed on her arm. Before the show started, Lorraine was inked by artist Glenn, leaving fans in suspense until the end of the show to see the results.
In the big reveal, Lorraine unveiled a purple tattoo on her upper arm featuring Billie's name and footprints. However, it wasn't until Lorraine chatted with Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about what's coming up on This Morning that they spotted a mistake.
Billie was actually spelt Billy. Spotting the error, Lorraine dramatically left the set at the end of her April Fools show, declaring she was "done." However, eagle-eyed viewers quickly realised that not everything was as it seemed, as the team had played an April Fool's prank on them.
