As Lorraine Kelly approaches her milestone 65th birthday, tributes are pouring in to celebrate the TV presenter's extraordinary four decades on the screen.

The cherished host of ITV’s morning show Lorraine has shared her secret for staying at the top of her game as she nears the significant career landmark.Earlier in the year, while chatting on the 'How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams' podcast, Lorraine shared how she dodges falling into complacency and stagnation as she ages.

She urged listeners not to become stuck in their habits and offered advice to her peers entering their sixties: stay inquisitive and embrace new experiences.Lorraine explained: "I think it's all about being curious, you know, it's all about wanting to find out about more things, being interested in new music - you may not like it that much - but listen to it! " She also encouraged giving new technologies such as TikTok a fair chance, adding: "Watch something on TikTok or whatever it is, don't just go, 'oh, you know...' and dismiss it, actually have a go.

If you don't like it, that's cool, but have a go anyway."In a nod to an earlier part of the podcast conversation where 'Loose Women' panellist Kaye Adams discussed the downsides of habitual grumbling, Lorraine added: "Don't get set in your ways." She added: "I think that's a big, big danger, because you were talking earlier about gurning and being moany and all of that, and that's a really sad thing."Lorraine concluded by stressing the importance of maintaining a youthful spirit, remarking: "I hate to see older people like that, because nobody wants to be around you then."She noted: "Older people have amazing stories to tell, and if you're somebody that's interested in everything that's going on,
