Lorraine Kelly’s daughter Rosie has bravely opened up on TV about her struggles with postpartum anxiety following the birth of her daughter Billie six weeks ago.The new mum appeared on Lorraine’s show on Tuesday 15 October to talk about her experiences and introduce her gorgeous baby daughter on air, alongside Dr Hilary Jones, who was there to offer medical advice on how to cope with anxiety after birth.
Rosie said Billie was a “dream baby” but she had struggled after Billie’s birth. She said: "I think postpartum depression gets spoken about a lot but I didn’t really know about postpartum anxiety.
I think a lot of people say your hormones are mental and you have all these feelings. I was very prepared to feel like, 'I'm not good enough, I'm doing well enough,' but I wasn't prepared for not feeling safe and I thought, 'That's not normal.'"
