Lorraine Kelly hails 'extraordinary' Tom Parker for his 'grace' during cancer battle

Lorraine Kelly is the latest star to pay tribute to The Wanted Singer Tom Parker following his tragic death aged 33. After the sad news broke that Tom had passed away on Wednesday 30 March, Lorraine, 62, praised the brave star for how he dealt with his brain tumour diagnosis with “such grace.” During her ITV show, the Scottish TV presenter said: “Welcome back.That's, of course, The Wanted, and the very sad news yesterday that singer Tom Parker has died from a brain tumour.” Continuing to read Tom's wife Kelsey's emotional statement telling Tom's fans the sad news, Lorraine added her own condolences.

Speaking on Thursday 31 March’s show, Ben said to viewers watching at home: “I'm sure all of you have heard the news, the very very sad news, of Tom Parker from The Wanted who sadly died from his battle with a brain tumour.” The 47 year old continued: “It was one of those moments I think we were all desperately hoping wasn't going to happen.That the battle he was taking on the treatment he was having was going to work. “We were lucky enough to spend time with him just before Christmas.
