Lorraine Kelly admits she will 'try really hard not to be annoying and interfere' as she becomes a gran

Lorraine Kelly is now a proud grandmother as her daughter, Rosie, recently welcomed her first child into the world and this morning, Lorraine appeared on Good Morning Britain bursting with pride as she told Susanna Reid and Ed Balls about the new arrival.

But Lorraine also added that while she is already doting over her granddaughter, called Billie Kelly Smith-White, she doesn’t want to be “annoying and interfere”.

During today’s GMB (Monday 2 August), Susanna welcomed Lorraine as “Granny Smith" before congratulating her and asked their fellow talk show host to tell them more about her granddaughter.

Lorraine told Susanna and Ed: “Baby Billie is here, oh, she’s beautiful, she’s absolutely beautiful. Eight pounds, three ounces of joy.
