Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain experienced a rather uncomfortable moment today when host Ed Balls confessed he was clueless about the identity of a celebrity guest. While presenting the ITV morning programme alongside Susanna Reid, with Richard Arnold handling the showbiz updates, they discussed an interview Richard had conducted with the Jonas Brothers in anticipation of their extensive UK and Ireland tour. The atmosphere turned awkward back in the studio as Ed revealed his ignorance regarding the pop group, questioning their fame and prompting a light-hearted rebuke from Susanna.Following the segment, Richard queried Ed for any questions since he appeared bemused, hands aloft.
Ed responded: "I'm sorry, I mean, are these guys famous? I have to admit I've never heard of them in my life. I heard two tracks of them in that report and I've never heard of them.
Honestly, I'm so sorry. I try and keep up." Susanna interjected with a jest: "You're too obsessed with the Gallagher brothers and don't have time for the Jonas Brothers, do you?!" which resulted in chuckles from everyone.
Later on, Ed enquired if they were a boyband, and Richard informed him about fans eagerly lining up early in Belfast for their show, leaving Ed still astonished, reports the Mirror.
