Loose Women viewers were in tears after Ruth Langsford cried on air as the panel discussed a difficult subject. The Loose ladies were discussing how people cope with the death of their beloved pets on Tuesday's programme (March 28).
They also spoke about recent upsetting scenes on Coronation Street, in which Evelyn Plummer was forced to have her greyhound Cerberus put to sleep after he fell seriously ill.
Amid the discussion, Ruth began to tear up, admitting: "Oh I can't bear it!" Coleen Nolan added: "Oh my god, you're actually going to cry - it's not even your dog!"
