Loose Women viewers' complaints after show slammed in racist row

Loose Women has long been a popular daytime show, having started airing back in 1999. Airing on weekdays, the women-led talk show sees a number of panellists join the show on rotation, including the likes of Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, Kelly Holmes, Christine Lampard and Olivia Attwood Dack.

Other panellists who have proven to be popular with viewers are journalist Charlene White, singer Brenda Edwards, comedian Judi Love and actress Kéllé Bryan.

However, when the four women teamed up to front Loose Women together last year, in a special episode to remember Brenda's late son Jamal Edwards.

Unfortunately a small number of viewers complained across social media and made derogatory comments towards the panel. A handful of viewers made cruel comments about Loose Women having an all-black female panel, with some sharing racist comments on social media on ITV's pages. “What is it with ITV, are they run by some Ofcom Diversity Group.
