Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

The Loose Women ladies appeared less than impressed as they lost out to This Morning at Thursday night's National Television Awards – with one panelist even appearing to keep her hands on her lap instead of applauding her fellow ITV stars.

This Morning's win received mixed reactions within both Wembley Arena itself as while some audience members applauded, boos could also be heard.

And it seems the Loose Women were among those rather disappointed with the win, as they looked on stone-faced as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby made their way to the stage.

Viewers at home were quick to note that while the majority of the Loose Women did clap, albeit seemingly unhappily, Linda Robson did not join them. "The Loose Women girls faces said it all," one viewer noted, as another tweeted: "The Loose Women were not happy!
