Loose Women panel say goodbye to co-star as she leaves ITV show after 20 years
ok.co.ukThe team at Loose Women have said goodbye to one of the much-loved members of the team after 20 years. During today’s programme, panellists Kaye Adams, Carol McGiffin, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore starred on the show.
At the end, Kaye told viewers: “Before we go, we have to say that after 20 years, this is the last day of our dear friend Donna May Clitheroe, the heart of our show.” The cameras then panned to Ruth Langsford who was sitting beside make-up artist Donna in the audience. “I don’t think Ruth’s going to let her go,” the panel joked as Ruth wrapped her arms around the make-up artist in a final farewell.
Donna then revealed she was taking the leap to work on her own business, called Donna May London, which she created a couple of years ago.
Ruth pointed at the stage and told her: “Well look at those four gorgeous women, you do that.”, as Kaye added: “Donna you are, and will continue to be a wonderful friend to us so thank you so much, we wish you all the best.” Writing on Instagram, Kaye said: “Can’t believe today is Donna May London’s last day at Loose Women!!
