Loose Women made a big mistake in the first few seconds of the show that aired on Tuesday 23 April. Ruth Langsford opened the show along with fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards. The women went on to discuss government policies, nude holidays, and books. They also welcomed ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge, Arlene Phillips, who joined the show to speak about the late Len Goodman who passed away a year ago.
However, before Ruth welcomed the live audience, and viewers to the show, the narrator made a blunder that people picked up and went on to comment about on social media.
As the show began, the voice over introduced the segment as "Friday’s Loose Women" and it didn’t take long before fans noticed and took to social media to comment on it.
One said: “Did they just say Fridays loose women?” Another added: “Did she say “Friday.” Today is Tuesday. #LooseWomen." A third added: “@loosewomen did your announcer just announce ‘Friday loose women live’?" Luckily, Ruth also heard the blunder and corrected it by simply saying "welcome to Tuesday's show".
