Weezer have reportedly responded to a recent billboard stunt by buying one of their own, and leaving a message for the owners of the other billboard.As reported in the Salt Lake City Tribune, social media creator Cory Hunter Winn purchased a billboard back in June that displayed Weezer’s name.Winn co-owns a clothing store, Lucca, that sells shirts featuring the band but according to reports, he and his business partners are huge fans of the band and wanted to do something to pay homage to the band – hence buying the billboard.Now, another billboard was purchased nearby which read: “Thanks to whoever bought the billboard down the road. – Weezer.”While Weezer haven’t yet officially confirmed whether or not they bought the billboard, they did post images of both billboards on social media, captioning the post: “How it started vs how it’s going.”The band also later posted a video to TikTok with the caption: “We’re sending out a signal.

Art Laboe, a revered Los Angeles radio mainstay for more than half a century who delighted local fans and a syndicated audience by playing those “oldies but goodies,” has died. He was 97.

Cynthia Littleton Business Editor Art Laboe, the pioneering Los Angeles DJ who championed the Oldies But Goodies format and was revered for sharing on-air dedications with listeners, died Oct. 7 in Palm Springs, Calif. Laboe was the founder of the Original Sound record label and the host of the long-running “Art Laboe Connection” syndicated radio program. He was one of the first DJs to play rock ‘n’ roll and R&B on West Coast radio stations. Just last month, Laboe, who was born celebrated his 79-year anniversary as a radio personality. “My favorite place to be is behind that microphone,” Laboe said at the time. “I have one of the best jobs in the world, playing the music, interacting with our listeners, doing their dedications and connecting them with their loved ones! Thank you to our dedicated fans that have listened through the decades and made ‘The Art Laboe Connection’ a family tradition,” he said.

Jen Shah will have to wait an extra month to learn her fate after pleading guilty in connection to her federal fraud case.On Thursday, the judge overseeing the trial approved a request by United States attorney Damian Williams and postponed The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star's sentencing, according to Page Six.Citing a 'scheduling conflict on the part of several members of the Government team' in a letter, the sentencing phase for Shah was moved from November 18, 2022 to December 15, 2022 by Judge Sidney H. Stein.Shah, 49, is facing up to 30 years in prison.  Postponed: The judge in Jen Shah's federal fraud case agreed to a request from a United States attorney to postpone her sentencing and push it back from November 18 to December 15, 2022; still from RHSLCShah and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in March 2021 and shortly after pleaded not guilty to one count each of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing, conspiracy to commit money laundering and obstructing an official proceeding, according to E News.They allegedly 'defrauded hundreds of victims,' most of which were people over the age of 55, in a nationwide telemarketing scheme.  Later in 2021, Smith would end up changing his plea to guilty, but he has not yet been sentenced.This past July, Shah followed suit and changed her plea to guilty during a surprise hearing at a New York court.
