Martha Wainwright has announced the dates for her 2025 UK and Ireland tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of her self-titled debut album.The Canadian singer will kick off her tour at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds on May 27 2025. From there, she will make stops in Stroud, Worthing, London, Manchester, Leeds, Sutherland, and Edinburgh before heading over to Ireland for a show in Belfast and a final show in Dublin’s The Button Factory on June 7 2025.A General ticket sale will commence this Friday (November 8).

Ed Sheeran has announced an intimate one-off concert in London to raise funds for mental health support charity Shout.The ‘=’ singer-songwriter will perform at the 900-capacity Union Chapel in Islington on Tuesday, October 11 as part of the ‘Wellstock x For One Night Only’ event series.Wellstock, an initiative created by Will Young, aims “to build platform to bring mental health awareness to the fore whilst also looking at fundraising and with an overview of acceptance, validation and blowing away the shame that can attach itself to feeling anything other than happy”.Sheeran’s special acoustic show, which will kick off the series, is being put on in support of Shout, the UK’s first and only free, confidential 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope.Fans’ only chance to attend the gig is by entering a charity prize draw and making a voluntary donation of £10 to the ‘For One Night Only’ fund that will be donated to Shout.You can do so by texting “ED” to 84903 (texts will be charged at your standard network rate) or visiting the official ‘FONO’ website to enter online or by post. Teenage Fanclub have shared a new single, ‘I Left A Light On’, which they say is the first indication that a new album may be on the way.The new song is a slow-burning, piano-led ballad with soaring strings, written by the band’s Norman Blake while they were mixing their latest album, 2021’s ‘Endless Arcade’. It was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, and arrives alongside a video that shows the band performing it there.“As a band we’ve already started thinking about another new album,” comments Blake.
