The owner of the famous Llandudno Pier has promised to get it fixed and reopened 'as soon as possible' after it was battered by Storm Darragh Adam Williams has expressed gratitude for the 'unbelievable' worldwide support received after the attraction in the North Wales tourist hotsport was damaged in the hurricane-force winds that hit the seaside town.

We've had a walk down the pier early doors this morning" Mr Williams told North Wales Live. "We managed to get down there though it is still awfully windy down there - reaching still 60mph winds.
The underneath - on the face of things - looks like we've survived quite well - a few broken braces etc. "The roofs are the major part of things - the old lead roofs - of the Victorian, listed (kiosks).
