Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.
He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,
Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard shared a snap of his son's lockdown birthday this week and marked the occasion with a cracking gift.
Lio turned three this week and was snapped in his new child-size Range Rover on his dad's Instagram. A black Jeep Wrangler toy could also be spotted in the background, with blue balloons and a huge inflatable number three also in shot.
Gerrard captioned the post: "Happy birthday Lio, big 3 today, love you mate." A host of the Liverpool legend's footballing pals commented on the post as well.
John Terry, Jonathan Woodgate and Robbie Keane all added their best wishes. Gerrard continues to enjoy some downtime as the Scottish season remains suspended.
