It is also sometimes known as end-stage liver disease and comes after three differing stages of damage. These include inflammation (hepatitis), fatty deposits (steatosis), and increased stiffness and mild scarring of your liver (fibrosis).In its earliest stages, those dealing with liver damage may not notice it as their body adjusts to deal with reduced liver function.
However, as the liver begins to decline further, it will become a lot more obvious.The NHS states that the illness can be caused by primary biliary cholangitis, problems with your immune system, hereditary conditions, and prolonged use of certain medications.
