Live Action 'Lilo & Stitch' Trailer Debuts Online - Watch Now!
justjared.comThe trailer for the live action version of Lilo & Stitch is finally here! The film is a reimagining of Disney’s 2002 animated classic! Chris Sanders – the voice actor, filmmaker, and animator who originally created Stitch and co-wrote and co-directed the original movie with Dean DeBlois – is voicing Stitch again in the new movie.
Newcomer Maia Kealoha will be playing Lilo, the little girl from Hawaii who adopts Stitch. According to an official film synopsis, Lilo & Stitch “tells a story of the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who was genetically engineered to be a force of destruction.
With nosy social workers and pursuing aliens banging on the door, the two bond over a shared sense of family and win the day.” Sydney Agudong will be playing Lilo’s older sister Nani while Kahiau Machado is playing David Kawena, Nani’s love interest.
The cast also includes Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen, Courtney B. Vance, Amy Hill, and Tia Carrere.
