Jade Thrilwall has made a fierce defence of Little Mix's raunchy lyrics, saying thatit is "empowering" for women to sing about sex.
The 27-year-old singer has spoken out after the band came under fire for the words they sing in their new album, as they start moving beyond their younger fanbase members.
Little Mix released Confetti last week, which was accompanied by one of the band's more sexier videos, which has prompted calls for them to review their output.
Nevertheless, they are on course to fight out the top spot of the UK albums chart with Kylie Minogue, after they both released new material on the same day.
