The girlband's new song Sweet Melody soared straight to number one on The Official Big Top 40 on Sunday. It is Little Mix's sixth number one since they formed on X Factor in 2011, which is more number ones than any other group or band.
Up until the weekend, the band, whose four members are Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards, were previously tied with fellow groups One Direction and Clean Bandit, who have five number one songs each.
