Lisandro Martinez has taken to social media after his contentious tackle on Cole Palmer during Manchester United's match with Chelsea - which ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
The incident saw Martinez pick up his fourth booking of the season when he made a risky attempt to win the ball from Palmer—a challenge that saw him receive a yellow card despite a VAR check.
Although VAR deemed his action reckless, it did not warrant a red card for endangering the safety of the Chelsea and England star.
Chelsea fans were left fuming over the decision and felt it deserved a more severe punishment. Palmer, evidently affected by the incident, was spotted applying ice to his knee.
