Lisa Ray may have been born in Canada but she actually started her acting and modelling career in India. However, it wasn’t until she teamed up with fellow Canadian Deepa Mehta for the 2005 Oscar-nominated movie “Water” that she broke out in Hollywood.
Now, the actress is ready to break out as a writer, debuting her memoir Close To The Bone in Canada, where she gets candid about some of the hardest times in her life, including her battle with an eating disorder and her cancer diagnosis.
