Theo Bair dreams of taking on Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the Copa America this summer – and that means playing to his best for Motherwell.
Canada take on World Cup and Copa America champions Argentina in the tournament’s opening match on June 20, having qualified via a 2-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on March 23.
That was Bair's first call-up for four years and he didn’t make it off the bench, but hopes his performances for the Steelmen will get him the nod and fulfil a personal ambition.
Having scored his 12th goal of the season in Motherwell’s 1-1 draw at home to St Mirren on Saturday, he might just get to carry it out.
