Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is set to face even more devastation in upcoming EastEnders scenes as she receives tragic news about Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).

Mick was last seen diving into the sea to save Linda after a Christmas day showdown with Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks). After it was revealed that Janine had framed Linda for drink driving and crashing her car, an epic car chase ensued, as Mick and Linda demanded answers from the soap bad girl.

However, it ended in disaster when Janine drove her car, with Linda inside, off the edge of a cliff and into the sea below. Linda was left utterly crushed when Mick failed to resurface, and has been slowly coming to terms with the fact that she may never see him again.

In upcoming episodes, Linda feels like she’s been punched in the gut when she receives Mick’s ‘Presumption of Death’ certificate.
