The 52 year old issued a statement after the devastating news that her son and SB.TV founder Jamal Edwards, who helped launch the careers of Ed Sheeran and Jessie J, died on Sunday 20 February. In a statement read out by Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, Brenda said: "It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness.
