Lina Esco Signs With Buchwald
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: S.W.A.T. alum Lina Esco, who will next be seen in Joe Carnahan’s upcoming Netflix film RIP alongside Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, has signed with Buchwald for representation in all areas.
Esco is best known for her role as officer Christina Alonso in S.W.A.T., where she was a series regular from 2017 to 2022. She made her television debut opposite Jimmy Smits in the 2007 CBS drama Cane and has appeared in LOL, Kingdom, Flaked, and London, where she starred alongside Chris Evans and Jessica Biel.
Esco portrays Captain Jackie Velez in the upcoming RIP. In the film, upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray.
As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on, according to the logline.
