Lifetime Orders Unscripted Series ‘A Sorority Mom’s Guide To Rush’ From ‘Bama Rush’ Producer Vice Studios
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Lifetime has given a green light to A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush (working title), a new unscripted series from Bama Rush producer Vice Studios.
It’s set for premiere later this year on Lifetime. Each hourlong episode in A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush (wt) chronicles “the most high-stakes time in a college-bound girl’s life, Sorority Rush,” according to the logline.
Rush has become a global social media phenomenon off the heels of #BamaRush (aka sorority recruitment week at the University of Alabama), with the hashtag acculumating 2.6 billion views on TikTok as of May 2023.
Vice Studios was behind the Bama Rush documentary that aired on Max in 2023. In A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush viewers will follow hopeful teens’ journeys to join Greek Life, and of course, their moms.
